Change address on Voter ID (within Bengaluru / new city)

Steps

1. 1

   Log in to the Voters' Portal

   Visit voters.eci.gov.in and register/login with your mobile number.

   Select Form 8

   Choose 'Shifting of Residence / Correction of Entries' (Form 8).

   Enter EPIC number

   Provide your existing Voter ID number and select 'Shifting of Residence'.

4. 4

   Fill new address & upload proof

   Enter the new address, assembly constituency, and upload the address proof.

5. 5

   Submit & note reference ID

   Submit the form and save the reference ID to track the application.

6. 6

   BLO verification

   A Booth Level Officer may visit/verify. The updated EPIC is delivered or made available for e-download.
