Ayushman Bharat – Arogya Karnataka (AB-ArK)
Up to ₹5 lakh/family/year cashless treatment at empanelled hospitals
Eligible (BPL) families get full cover; APL families get a defined co-pay. Resident of Karnataka.
- 1.Get your Ayushman/ArK card — apply on Seva Sindhu or at an Arogya Karnataka kiosk / empanelled govt hospital with Aadhaar + ration card.
- 2.For planned care, go to an empanelled hospital and present the card.
- 3.For emergencies, referral from a govt hospital may be needed for private empanelled hospitals.
- 4.Check eligibility & empanelled hospitals on the official portal.

- 1.Visit the PM-JAY portal and use 'Am I Eligible' with your mobile/ration details.
- 2.Download the Ayushman card (also via the Ayushman app / DigiLocker).

- •Search real-time blood availability by group and city on e-RaktaKosh (national blood-bank registry).
- •Call 104 (Arogya Sahayavani) for blood bank and facility information.
- •Govt & major hospital blood banks (Victoria, Bowring, NIMHANS) stock most groups — call ahead.
- •Consider registering as a voluntary donor — one donation can save up to three lives.
💉 Vaccination & immunization
- •Free childhood immunisation (BCG, OPV, Pentavalent, MR, etc.) at any govt PHC/UPHC per the national schedule.
- •Book/locate vaccination (incl. COVID & travel) on CoWIN by PIN code.
- •Anti-rabies vaccine after animal bites is free at major govt hospitals.
- •Travelling to Kenya/Africa? Yellow Fever vaccine + the 'Yellow Card' is given only at an authorized centre (Public Health Institute, Bengaluru) — see the guide.
