Legal Heir Certificate (after a death)
After a family member's death, a Legal Heir Certificate identifies the rightful heirs — needed for pension, gratuity, PF, insurance and some transfers. Apply via Nadakacheri. (Banks/securities may instead need a court Succession Certificate.)
